Caitlin Mason

HRC Outreach Specialist

Caitlin believes compassion is the essential starting point for any meaningful and effective intervention, and she is committed to using her professional skills to support others with care and respect.

“I am driven by a deep belief in the power of empathy, resilience, and human connection.”

Caitlin was drawn to Sound Pathways because of its commitment to meeting people with dignity rather than judgment, and its focus on empowering individuals to rediscover their own strengths during life’s most vulnerable moments.

Her dedication to this work is deeply personal. Caitlin brings lived experience with addiction and profound loss, including the death of her husband to an overdose. These experiences have given her a firsthand understanding of the complexities of substance use and the far-reaching impact it has on individuals and families. Rather than allowing this history to be a barrier, Caitlin uses it as a source of empathy and advocacy.

“My own journey through grief and recovery has strengthened my belief in the power of connection, and am committed to providing non-judgmental, trauma-informed support to help individuals and families navigate their paths toward healing, stability, and hope.”
