Darby Robb
FCS Housing Case Manager
Darby was drawn to this field through a lifelong exposure to service. Growing up, she watched her mother consistently show up for others, modeling what it means to lead with generosity and care. Those early experiences shaped her worldview and instilled in her a deep desire to support people through difficult seasons of life.
“The values that most resonate with how I show up are Compassion and Connection. I believe compassion begins with listening and meeting people where they are, without judgment. Connection is equally essential—because people thrive when they know they are not alone.”
Stepping into this role feels like a meaningful beginning in her journey to make a lasting difference. Her passion for service began in childhood. At just eight years old, Darby helped start a winter initiative called Warm Hearts Warm Hands, providing hats and gloves to people in need. She later helped prepare and serve meals to individuals experiencing homelessness in Seattle through Magic Works alumni groups. These formative experiences reinforced her belief that even small acts of care can have a powerful and lasting impact.
“Treating people with dignity, offering steady support during challenging moments, and walking alongside individuals as they move toward stability are central to the work she hopes to do.”
While new to the social services profession, Darby brings heartfelt dedication, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn and grow. She is currently working toward becoming a Certified Peer Support Specialist and is committed to continuing her professional development so she can provide steady, compassionate support to individuals navigating housing instability and life transitions.
