Janelle Sawyer
PCAP Case Manager
Janelle earned her Bachelor of Arts in Individual and Family Development from Seattle Pacific University. She brings a wealth of experience, expertise, and unwavering hope for her community to her role at Sound Pathways.
“To me, the relational model for working with people with complex needs is the most hopeful path to lasting change. We can work together to build a life with meaning and vibrancy.”
Janelle’s values are deeply rooted in connection. She believes that seeing people as individuals with inherent value—no matter their circumstances—is key to their healing and growth. She sees connection as the bridge between the theoretical value of compassion and the actionable practice of treating people with empathy and respect.
With lived experience as a mother and a trained doula, Janelle is particularly passionate about guiding fellow moms through the transition to motherhood. She knows firsthand the transformative power of support during this time.
“When a mother has an advocate by her side, she doesn’t have to face her challenges alone. As mothers, we have the power to profoundly shape our families’ lives. With the right resources, we can navigate the journey of raising our children, creating positive ripple effects that extend throughout our communities.”
Janelle’s heart for connection drives her work to help individuals and families discover their strength, embrace healing, and offer their unique gifts to the world.
